FAQ

The Zelena punta festival area is located on the small green island of Ugljan, which lies on the northern edge of the Kornati Islands in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, opposite Zadar in the beginning of Dalmatia. Driving from Ljubljana to Zadar is 4 hours by highway, and then a 15-minute ferry from Zadar to Ugljan.

We recommend arriving by car, there are dedicated parking spaces in the camp, but you can also take the bus line to Zadar and then take the ferry on foot. It is a 5-minute drive from the ferry port in Ugljan to Zelena punta, and for those arriving on foot, transportation to the festival area will be organized.

There are three airports in the vicinity of the island, in

  • In Zadar (distance 15 km to the ferry)
  • In Split (distance 150 km to the ferry)
  • In Zagreb (280 km to the ferry)

The festival takes place between 12 and 16 June 2024

The festival will take place in the Adriatic Sea, on the green island of Ugljan, near Zadar in Croatia.

A ferry to Ugljan runs from Zadar ferry port throughout the day. You can see the timetable here.

For citizens of the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland, a visa is not required for stays up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

For citizens of many other countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, a visa is also not required for stays up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism, business, or other short-term visits.

However, it’s always best to check the current visa requirements and regulations for your specific country and situation before traveling to Croatia. You can do this by checking with the Croatian embassy or consulate in your home country, or by visiting the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs website.

If you do require a visa, you’ll need to apply for it in advance and provide the necessary documentation, such as a valid passport, proof of travel arrangements and accommodation, and proof of financial means to support your stay.

When it comes to health insurance, if you’re a citizen of an EU or EEA country, or Switzerland, you can use your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive medical treatment in Croatia. This card provides access to state-provided healthcare at a reduced cost or for free, depending on the treatment required. However, it’s important to note that the EHIC is not a substitute for travel insurance, as it doesn’t cover all medical costs, repatriation, or other travel-related issues.

For travelers who are not eligible for the EHIC, or who want more comprehensive coverage, there are a variety of travel insurance options available. You can purchase travel insurance through your travel agent, insurance provider, or online. This insurance typically covers medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and other travel-related issues.

In terms of car insurance, if you plan to drive in Croatia, you must have a valid driver’s license from your home country, and your vehicle must have valid insurance. If you’re renting a car, the rental company will typically provide insurance coverage as part of the rental agreement. However, it’s important to read the terms and conditions carefully and make sure you understand the coverage and any exclusions.

It’s a place where you can connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for life, nature, and personal growth. It’s a place where you can rediscover the beauty of human interactions and the power of community.

There are grocery stores, supermarkets, pharmacy store and a hospital closeby on the island (walking distance).

We wanted to keep the festival prices for food and drinks similar to local prices available on the island.

Tickets

You can buy ticket without accommodation, though we recommend choosing the option with accommodation. We aim to provide a smooth holiday experience, and being able to manage the accommodation for our guests helps us to ensure a stress free event for everyone. On average, the prices are approx. 5-10€ lower than apartment prices on the island at that time.

You can come and go as you wish, but due to the small size of the festival, the tickets are only sold for the whole week.

We recommend staying for as long as possible to soak in the amazing scenery.

For general information about apartments please write to info@zelenapunta.hr. If you have specific questions regarding your apartment, please write us to info@flowsfestival.com.

Yes, a small amount of daypasses will be available to local people and people that want to join the festival for a day.
